Short description: The Khorog`s Mayor office received a grant from the European Union for the implementation of the BRUD project - "Building Resilience through Integrated Urban Development: Solid Waste Management, Efficient Public Lighting and Ecosystem-based Disaster Risk Reduction in Khorog". 

The aims of the project are:

Outcome 1: Improved solid waste management system
Outcome 2: Improved resource efficiency and quality of public lighting services
Outcome 3: Improved resilience to climate change-induced natural hazards through Eco-DRR activities.
