DVV International has long-term experience in capacity building of various partner organisations and delivery of tailored education programmes for diverse vulnerable groups of population in over 30 countries of the world.
Position Summary: DVV International is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team in Tajikistan for a fixed-term 140-day maternity leave replacement, starting 1st June 2025. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for reviewing financial reports from partner organizations and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the Finance Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and verify financial reports from partner organizations
- Ensure compliance with DVV International’s financial policies and reporting standards
- Provide feedback to partners regarding financial reporting accuracy and completeness
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing consolidated reports
- Digitize and archive financial documents from DVV International and its partners
- Support internal audits and finance-related evaluations
- Assist in organizing finance meetings and trainings
Working hours:
Regular working hours: Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. Salary will be discussed during the interview and will depend on the qualifications and experience of a candidate.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance roles, preferably within international NGOs
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software
- Fluency in English, Russian, and Tajik
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
