Vacancy Announcement

Japan International Cooperation Agency in Tajikistan is seeking one Assistant Staff who is in charge mainly of logistic support. 

Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of Office staffs, the position will carry out the following logistic supports;

  - Receptionist Work

  - Chief Representative's Assistant

  - General Affairs Assistant

  - Health Management Assistant

  - Public Relations Assistant

  - Other duties as instructed by the Chief Representative

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have the following;

  • University degree in relevant fields
  • Fluency in English, Russian, and Tajik in all aspects (writing, speaking, reading, etc). The knowledge of Japanese is advantageous.
  • Ability to write reports clearly, concisely, persuasively, and comprehensively in Japanese or English.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the structures of Government of Tajikistan.
  • Ability to multitask, including planning ahead and putting priorities of tasks
  • Knowledge on and familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, Internet for office usage
  • Excellent personal communication skills
  • Excellent team work skills
  • Being able to start working with us from February, 2025
  • Motivation for bridging between Japan and Tajikistan

Interviews:     

The short listed candidates will be planned to be interviewed in the mid of February, 2025. Language proficiency tests will be also conducted.

JICA began its technical cooperation with Tajikistan in 1993 by inviting Tajik officials to gain knowledge and experience on governance and macroeconomics development. JICA Tajikistan Office was established in 2006, and since then various Grant Financial Assistance and Technical Cooperation projects have been implemented more dynamically, aiming at improving living standard of Tajik people for the sectors such as agriculture and rural development, water supply, health, transport, energy, capacity building etc. JICA is implementing various projects in 139 countries and regions.
