Since the end of the civil war in 1997, MEED has helped thousands of people in Tajikistan’s rural communities with clean water and latrines, livelihoods training and help to better preparefor disasters. In addition, MEED strives to contribute to a world in which persons with disabilities fully exercise their rights. Mission East requires a Rental car with driver for its project activities in Tajikistan.

Services required	Car rent services with the driver on call basis in Dushanbe with frequent travel to the districts of Khatlon and Sughd regions
Location based	Dushanbe, Tajikistan
Length of contract	On call
Reports to	Logistics Manager
Overall Responsibility	The services are required for the safe transportation of Mission East staff and guests and supplies within Dushanbe city, and regions of Khatlon and Sughd. Mission East will covers the fuel consumption, as well accommodation of the driver during the field trip.
Scope of Work	Crossover or equivalent model /type of vehicle with similar seating capacity and interior space Travel to Mission East’s and its partners project sites when requested with Program Staff Ensure that there is a sufficient supply of fuel for any and all travels. Record details of travel the logbooks, keeps the vehicle in good mechanical condition. Adhere to speed limits and road rules at all times. Ensure that all documentation relating to vehicle, vehicle insurance, driving license, etc. are present and in the vehicle. Adhere to Mission East Policy and behavioural ethics Terms The service provider is responsible for the safety, maintenance and security of the vehicle. They will solely be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the vehicle due to accident, theft or any other reasons. Mission East has no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to the vehicle or goods in the vehicle. Service provider is responsible for insurance within the contract period. Repair and maintenance services will be the responsibity of the service provider Monthly invoices will be submitted by the selected service provider on the last day of each month for the agreed upon fixed price Mission East will deduct applicable taxes from payments as per government policy. Mission East will provide with fuel as per the used milage.
Minimum requirement of the vehicle	Very good mechanical and body condition All valid registration documents of the vehicle Valid technical inspection certificates Driving license category: minimum “C” Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance coverage (as to cover any accident liability on passengers and drivers) Working seat belts (all seats - front and back) Working A/C
Necessary skills,competencies and experience of Driver	Fluency in Tajik and Russian language required. Good communication skills. At least 5 years’ professional experience working as a driver. Familiar with all traffic laws and regulations. Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures. Excellent driving record
