PROJECT SUMMARY:
ICAP at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health supports high-quality HIV-related activities around the world. ICAP works with host country government and non-government organizations to strengthen health systems and build capacity for programs related to HIV/AIDS and other debilitating illnesses like tuberculosis and malaria. In Tajikistan, ICAP implements PEPFAR/CDC-funded activities aimed to achieve HIV epidemic control by building capacity of local service providers to deliver effective HIV prevention, testing and treatment services and by strengthening HIV-related strategic information systems and improving data use for HIV program management.
POSITION SUMMARY:
ICAP at Columbia University in Central Asia plans to support one SMM specialist to promote an online web service for ordering a self-test kit for HIV infection among key populations (hereinafter referred to as the HIVTEST web service) in the city of Dushanbe, RRS and Sughd region. The specialist must have the skills and experience in the field of SMM necessary for creating, maintaining and advertising HIVTEST platform accounts in social networks.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Developing a content plan: publication topics, post frequency, headings.
- Creating texts for posts, stories, videos and other formats.
- Communicating with subscribers: responding to comments, messages, mentions. Comment moderation (removing spam, processing negativity).
- Managing social media accounts. Maintaining and promoting accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, VK, TikTok;
- Copywriting and rewriting 2-3 posts and/or 2-3 stories on IG/FB weekly. Ability to work with articles, analytical materials, reports for copywriting or rewriting posts. Ability to plan publications based on the needs of key groups and trends in healthcare and HIV;
- Graphic design and/or visualization of posts, as well as creating designs for promotional materials. Ability to design posts/IOMs in accordance with the brand book, both for social networks and for print.
- Interacting with bloggers/influencers from key population groups to promote the hivtest.tj platform;
- Writing material for the media/interacting with the media to shoot video material – covering dates such as May 19 (AIDS Remembrance Day) or December 1 (World AIDS Day), etc.
- SEO. Setting up advertising, targeting. Understanding how to attract key population groups using organic traffic/paid advertising;
- Actively searches for channels to popularize the HIVTEST web service, distributes materials created by SMM
- Attempts to establish contact with administrators/moderators of closed groups and channels in order to obtain permission to post information about the HIVTEST web service.
- Promote the use of the HIVTEST web service in group and individual chats of closed groups and channels.
- Work with web outreach in Dushanbe and Khujand for dissemination of information on the online platform, IOMs, holding and participating in various events among the KP, etc.
- Reporting. Reporting on publications in social networks on a monthly basis.
- Interaction with ICAP at Columbia University. Weekly online meetings, coordinating posts, generating ideas.

Higher.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as an SMM manager – minimum 1-2 years;
- Excellent copywriting/rewriting skills.
- Skills in working with images, videos, text editors and graphic editors;
- Excellent communication skills, analytical skills; ability to work independently and in a team; ability to meet deadlines;
- Knowledge of Internet marketing channels, general understanding of web design
