Background:

The United Nations World Food Programme hereinafter referred to as the “WFP”, with its Headquarters located in Via C.G. Viola, 68/70, 00148 Rome, Italy is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience by assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries each year. About 17,000 people work for the organization, most of them in remote areas, directly serving the hungry poor.

The WFP office in Tajikistan invites qualified suppliers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be considered for inclusion in the WFP Roster of approved suppliers. Suppliers selected through this process will be included in WFP’s Roster and may be invited to participate in future procurement processes.

We are looking to engage suppliers capable of providing various goods and services including, but not limited to the following categories:

• Travel Management Services and Visa support.
• Courier delivery.
• Kitchen equipment producers.
• Construction Services and supply of construction materials.
• Fuel supply around Tajikistan (Certified/Licensed Company).
• Plastic pipes, fittings & joints producers.
• Vehicle wash services.
• Newspaper advertisement services.
• Disposal services for various assets and goods, food, etc.
• Asset/ office moving companies
• Assets repair services and etc.

Eligibility to participate in the proposed tender will be determined based on minimum qualifying criteria.

Supplier shall have:

1. Certificate of State Registration and License (if the licensable type of activity).
2. Sufficient financial capacity to successfully undertake  a contract.
3. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
4. Minimum 3 Recommendation letters from different organizations.

In order to participate in the pre-qualification exercise, Suppliers are required to provide the following:

• Supplier Registration Form along with other required documentation (will be sent upon your request through dushanbe.procurement@wfp.org).

All supporting documentation listed above shall be prepared in accordance with the instructions provided and sent by email to dushanbe.procurement@wfp.org.

This request for EOI does not constitute a solicitation. WFP reserves the right to change or cancel this procurement process or any of its requirements at any time during the process; any such action will be communicated to all participants.
