The Swiss Foundation for Mine Action in the Republic of Tajikistan (FSD) is an international humanitarian non profit, independent and neutral organization, its headquarter office is located in Geneva/ Switzerland.

The FSD has been implementing humanitarian de-mining programe/projects in Tajikistan since 2003. FSD aims to eliminates mines, unexploded ordnance remnants of war and chemical pollutants, so that people can build a secure future for themselves and younger generation and live in a safe environment.

the following vacancies are open/available at FSD Tajikistan program and we delight to advertise/announce to intersted applicants;

1. One (1) medic (paramedic), to support the humanitarian min clearance team during the de-ming cylce, with a one-year contract (with possible extension).

In the case of accident, provide first aid support, as well as provide medical aid to any employee of the FSD as of requirement.

Main requirements:

1. The presence of a military ID.
2. Perform the regulations’ requirements in accuracy, error-free and timely fulfillment manner.
3. Knowledge, skills and professional capability.
4. Possess high skills in providing first aid to employees.
5. As per team leader plan, conduct first aid training to team members, when its required.
6. Full knowledge in the field of operations in this direction.
7. Sufficient physical strength and ability to work in the field.
8. Good verbal communication and good relations with employees.

10.  Assistance/support the team leader of team with his/her management/ paper work .

11.  By order of the management, the implementation of additional operational work.
