Short description:
The Project will support Dushanbe in addressing its pressing solid waste
management challenges, which is of high importance for the city’s green
and sustainable development. Dushanbe’s improved solid waste management
will put the city on a long-term track towards cradle-to-cradle economy
where resources are reused and waste is minimized.
The Translator/Interpreter (English) will be hired to provide timely and
high-quality translation of all required documents and reports, with
direct reporting to the Manager of the PIG under the Smart City SUE.
Qualification Requirements
• University bachelor/master/specialist degree in philology or
related areas;
• Fluency in written and oral Tajik, Russian, and English;
• At least five (5) years of work experience in translating documents
(bidding documents, bid evaluation reports, contracts, etc.) from
English into Russian and vice versa;
• Knowledge of specialized translation/interpretation, preferably in:
- Civil engineering;
- Utility sector;
- Economy.
• Working with MS Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint;
• Ability to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines;
• Ability to produce high-quality content in big volumes;
• Demonstrated willingness to work as part of a team in a
multicultural environment.
