What is Model UN and why it's important for youth?
Second Model UN Conference in Dushanbe organized by United Nations Association of Tajikistan will take place from 26-27 November 2022.
UNA is now accepting applications from potential candidates to this highly engaging event to obtain an immersive experience in the world of international affairs.
The agenda for this year includes the following important topics:
Access to education - challenges and opportunities
Ensuring the protection of children rights by implementing the SDG Removing
Tangible Barriers for Refugees and Children including most marginalized to Escape Poverty
Access to social assistance benefits to refugee families (including most marginalized)
Children’s rights and climate change
Young people from all over Tajikistan aged between 16-24, who have a good command of English, creativity and problem-solving skills, have previous experience in Model UN conferences (optional), are invited to apply.
