Title: Administrative Clerk (Fellow - Temporary) (FSN–03) Dushanbe-2024-030
The Fellowship Program will provide a compensated professional development experience to each Fellow. Fellows will perform part-time work in assigned sections across the embassy, based on head of section requests. A Fellow participating in the Fellowship Program will be a temporary employee of the Embassy. Upon completion of the six-month temporary appointment the agreement will be terminated. Participation in the fellowship program does not guarantee future employment with the Embassy.
Short description: Administrative Clerk provides clerical, secretarial, and administrative support for the Sections of the U.S. Embassy Dushanbe. Assists with screening and routing phone calls within the assigned section, taking messages and scheduling appointments. Assists with scanning and making copies of documents. Assists with filing documents in accordance with the section`s requirements and specifications. Assists with e-Filing of scan copies of documents in accordance with the section`s requirements and specifications. Assists in submitting Visitor Access Request (VAR) and escorting the visitors of the assigned section.

Job overview - Trades Helper assists with routine and preventive maintenance, and new installations and demolition work. The incumbent may be assigned tasks include material handling, painting, custodial type work, snow removal, common laborer work, grounds maintenance and gardening work. Assists with routine mechanical, carpentry, electrical and plumbing work, preventive maintenance, and new installations and demolition work throughout the New Embassy Compound (NEC).
