Tajikistan Millati Solim Project funded by the World Bank 

Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan announces a competition for selection for the position: 

1. Disbursement Specialist

Objective -will provide assistance to Project implementation in the field of disbursement and accounting and will be responsible for the funds transfer and maintaining financial records/reporting. 

• University Degree in economics and finance, preferably in accounting; 
• At least 5 years of experience in any position in finance or accounting;
• At least 1 year of work experience as a Disbursement Specialist in donor projects, preferably WB Projects;
• Knowledge of local financial reporting procedures and regulations (rules for filling out reports to tax authorities, the State Statistics Committee under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Agency for Social Insurance and Pensions under the GoT), knowledge of the laws and regulations of the Republic of Tajikistan that regulate tax, accounting and cash transactions, and experience with the cash-based method of the IPSAS accounting and reporting;
• Knowledge of the standards for filling out primary documents both in soft and hard copy, the rules of document flow and storage of primary documentation;
• Knowledge and practical experience in 1-C Accounting software;
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word programs;
• Fluency in Russian and Tajik languages and medium level of English;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In the subject line of the application, indicate the position for which the applicant is applying, and a brief justification of his/her qualifications for this position;

• A copy of the passport, diploma, employment record, and other documents confirming the necessary qualifications;
• A copy of the certificate and recommendations, if any.
