GIZDigitalization Partner
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is an international enterprise for cooperation and sustainable development, owned by the German Federal Government and active in 120 countries worldwide. On behalf of German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, GIZ has been working in Tajikistan since 1995.
In Tajikistan it implements several projects in the sectors of employment, economy and health and supports the government and its agencies in improving the livelihood of the population. The Country Offices and projects work data-based, in strong cooperation and actively use new technologies and digital innovations in all areas of business. In this way, we provide support throughout trainings and expert knowledge to GIZ staff and to implementation partners.
GIZ is inviting applicants for the following vacant position: Digitalization Partner (DiPa)
Digitalization Partner (DiPa) increase the efficiency of all processes and the effectiveness of service provision in compliance with GIZ rules and local regulations. The DiPa ensures an essential link between the field structure and headquarters and are ambassadors of modern working methods and new technology.
The position is based in Dushanbe.
The areas of responsibilities are as followed:
Digital Transformation – Digital Literacy and Security – Data Protection – Information &
Documentation Management - Cloud Applications – Internal IT Processes – GDPR – SAP implementation
For the above-mentioned areas, the Digitalization Partner is Focal Point for Country
Offices and Projects.
General tasks
- Provide consultation to GIZ staff on digital transformation on the broad sense
- Coordinate with Headquarter about digital practices and communicates them to GIZ staff
- Coordinate with IT-Professional and DiPas throughout Central Asia on digital topics
- Supporte the new SAP implementation together with colleagues throughout Central Asia
- Advise GIZ staff on new tools and platforms as per their requirements
- Translate HQ recommendations into presentations and decision papers for GIZ staff
- Coordinate with the Information Security Officer on common areas related to Cybersecurity
- Getting to know new digital solutions, ongoing networking, and exchange with
Headquarter
- Provide an onboarding of new staff on GIZ’s digital environment (Information Security Awareness)
- Consult on the compliant use of the central document management systems
for GIZ staff
- First point of contact for basic data protection, as well as the data protection regulations on-site and communicate this comprehensibly for GIZ staff
- Strengthening the capacity for digital innovation
- Provide support depending on technical expertise (area of duty)
- Knowledge and advisory on GIZ Social Media guideline
- Creates content for multi-channel communication
- Being First Point of Communication regarding internal and external Communication
Contact Point for colleagues throughout Central Asia on topics of Communication
Requirements
- Advanced Microsoft 365, SharePoint and workflow skills
- Basic technical understanding and a good feel for trends and developments in the
digital sector
- Basic knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation
- Basic knowledge of Information Security
- Coordination and Communication Skills
- Ability to work independently
- Analyzation Skills to identify needs
- Skills in training / education, communication and change management
- Previous experience in information technology or other related fields
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
- Strong analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Competent in both written and verbal English language
- Express yourself purposefully and enjoy presenting and moderating
- High motivation and personal drive for change management
- Team Player
- Good prioritization skills, to balance key priorities
