Lecture for Tajik National University students on UN-Tajikistan cooperation

On 5 December 2022 Ms. Sezin Sinanoglu, UN Resident Coordinator met with students of Tajik National University. The meeting was held jointly with Mr. Khushvakht Khushvakhtzoda, TNU Rector. The meeting was dedicated to 30th anniversary of Republic of Tajikistan's accession to the UN and International Volunteers Day 2022. In her speech Ms. Sinanoglu noted: "Within last thirty years, the UN has worked hand in hand with Tajikistan on the country’s path to achieving prosperity and peace. During this time, the country has made significant progress in improving the well-being of its citizens, as well as playing a strong role at the international level in promoting climate and water issues, regional security and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, known for short as the SDGs."
