UN Resident Coordinator's message dedicated to 16 Days of Activism against GBV campaign

This year’s global theme is “UniTe to End Digital Violence Against Women and Girls: no excuse for online abuse” and it draws our attention to a critical reality: as our world becomes ever more connected, digital violence and abuse is increasing. But violence, whether physical or virtual, is preventable. This year’s campaign calls on all of us, including the governments, communities, families, and individuals to unite. We must demand accountability, strengthen protection to build a future where no one is silenced, and everyone feels safe and protected.
