Job purpose :  Within this framework, Equidev is implementing the Groundwater Management Project (GWMP), funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) through Helvetas. The project seeks to strengthen the sustainable regulation of groundwater resources in Tajikistan. Two core tasks are central to this work and are currently partially completed: Task 1 focuses on evaluating the groundwater permitting system, including legal, institutional, and procedural aspects; while Task 2 analyzes the groundwater drilling industry, including its legal and regulatory framework, licensing process, and governance. Both tasks require a dedicated legal review of more than 18 key legal and regulatory documents to ensure that project recommendations are accurate, comprehensive, and grounded in Tajikistan’s legal system.
