Internews in Tajikistan announces vacancy for Grant Manager position
Key responsibilities:
• Administrate grant projects in accordance with the rules and policies of the Representative Office, local legislation and donor organizations, including preparation of announcements of competitions, selection of finalists, conclusion of grant agreements and monitoring the fulfillment of obligations by the partners;
• Ensure compliance with all procedures and internal control of the project;
• Collaborate with the head office to ensure a smooth flow of requests and grant documentation;
• Maintain contacts with grantees regarding the implementation of grant project activities;
• Consult partners on all types of grant reporting;
• Verify the reports from grantees;
• Collect the information and prepare regular reports on the work done and the results of activities;
• Participate in the preparation and implementation of activities related to grant projects.
Basic requirements for a candidate:
- Citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan and residence in the city of Dushanbe;
- Availability of higher specialized education and at least 3-5 years of work experience.
- Experience of work with grant projects, knowledge of the requirements and procedures on grant management.
- Working experience with International organizations.
- Working experience with USAID projects or other donors is an asset;
- Compulsory knowledge of English not lower than upper-intermediate level;
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently, performing assigned tasks;
- Sociability, a high level of responsibility are also the key selection criteria.
